About Aseema Charitable Trust:

Aseema Charitable Trust is a Mumbai based non-governmental organization committed to improving the lives of marginalized communities by providing children from these communities with high quality, holistic, value-based education. 

Over the last 25 years, Aseema Charitable Trust has been committed to achieving its mission through building a nurturing learning environment, adopting excellent teaching-learning methodology and increasing family and neighborhood participation. Over 3,100 students are currently enrolled at Aseema schools in Mumbai and Igatpuri. The organization also supports over 900 alumni in their quest for higher education and for pursuing careers of their choice. 

The Aseema curriculum involves strong academic, co-curricular and value education programs designed to encourage the holistic development of children. In addition, our approach gives impetus to developing social and emotional skills in the child to enable them to manage challenges, build positive relationships and self-esteem and resolve conflict. Across all our schools, we provide healthy nutritious meals to our children, these are often a substantial part of their daily diet.
